A competição de League of Legends do Circuito Pessoensse de e-Sports chegou ao seu fim, neste sábado (25), com a vitória de Jampa e-Sports sobre Netspeed Telecom na grande final. A competição foi uma das atividades da 20ª Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia promovida pela Prefeitura Municipal de João Pessoa, por meio da Secretaria de Ciência e Tecnologia (Secitec).
O time campeão abriu uma vantagem de três partidas a zero. O jungle do grupo Aldair Lima (Lord Semi) ficou satisfeito com o resultado alcançado. “Sensação de dever cumprido. Não há satisfação maior. Estamos felizes demais com esse desempenho, continuamos três a zero nessa final maravilhosa. Acredito que quanto mais desenvolvimento conseguirmos em nossa região, mais oportunidades surgirão”, comentou Aldair Lima.
O diretor de Difusão da Tecnologia e Inovação, Edvaldo Vasconcelos, comentou que a terceira edição do CPE na Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia foi um sucesso. “Tivemos quase seis mil pessoas no local, entre jogadores e pessoas assistindo pessoalmente e online. Acreditamos que a competição só tende a crescer a cada ano e quero parabenizar a Secitec pela ajuda e desempenho”, acrescentou o diretor.
O diretor da organização do circuito, Kauan Lima, disse que a competição está na mente de todos. “Um time com um grande nome vencendo a partida no circuito que é aberto para todos os Estados. Marcando presença desde as eliminatórias até as finais. Fico satisfeito também porque a Jampa e-Sports é uma tradição no circuito”, afirmou.
Os organizadores do circuito têm planos ambiciosos, como por exemplo introduzir outros campeonatos e modalidades, como Valorant ou CS. “Queremos expandir significativamente, convidando mais pessoas para participar desse momento tão crucial. É muito importante para nós”, acrescentou Kauan Lima.
A premiação ocorreu após a competição, sendo R$ 2,5 mil para Jampa e-Sports, R$ 1,5 mil à Netspeed Telecom e R$ 1 mil à Princesa do Vale. O circuito também incluiu torneios de outros jogos além de League of Legends, como Just Dance, Naruto Storm 4, FIFA e Mortal Kombat.
Semana Nacional – Este ano, a 20ª Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia teve como tema ‘Ciências Básicas para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável’. O evento acontece anualmente desde 2004 e foi estabelecido por meio do decreto presidencial em 9 de junho do mesmo ano.
