Prefeitura de Sorocaba e Parque Tecnológico promovem Aula Magna do curso de TI do programa Inova Tech 50+ – Agência de Notícias

A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio do Parque Tecnológico (PTS), realizou, na manhã de segunda-feira (2), nas dependências do PTS, a Aula Magna do curso voltado à formação em Lógica de Programação com a linguagem Python, para os candidatos aprovados no programa Inova Tech 50+.

O programa Inova Tech 50+ foi desenvolvido pelo PTS, por meio da Agência Inova Sorocaba, a partir de uma parceria com a startup iTalents, e tem como objetivo impulsionar a participação de pessoas com 50 anos ou mais na área de Tecnologia da Informação (TI), proporcionando novos desafios e um ambiente inclusivo, criando oportunidades para que esse público atinja todo o seu potencial.

O prefeito Rodrigo Manga ressalta a importância do curso gratuito, voltado às pessoas nessa faixa etária. “Sorocaba tem recebido diversas empresas nos últimos anos, gerando trabalho e renda, por isso é fundamental que as pessoas, de todas as idades, busquem atualizar seus currículos, por meio de cursos de qualificação profissional, agregando novas competências e habilidades à sua trajetória profissional. E, nós, enquanto Poder Público, trabalhamos para oferecer, cada vez mais, oportunidades de acesso aos cursos profissionalizantes”, destaca.

A Aula Magna foi aberta pelo presidente do Parque Tecnológico de Sorocaba, Nelson Cancellara, que fez uma apresentação sobre o complexo e sua estrutura, partindo da divulgação de um vídeo institucional. Durante sua fala, ele destacou a importância de programas, como esse, voltados à qualificação profissional. “Sorocaba tem atraído muitas empresas e uma das demandas é, justamente, pessoas com experiência e que tenham conhecimentos na área de TI. A qualificação profissional é fundamental para se destacar no mercado de trabalho altamente concorrido. As empresas estão em busca de pessoas que, além de desempenharem suas funções, também possam somar à organização, com habilidades, visões e estratégias”, pontua. “Estamos muito felizes com o resultado alcançado, uma vez que tivemos mais de 470 inscritos nesse programa”, completa.

Na sequência, em sua fala, o diretor-administrativo da Agência Inova Sorocaba, André Santos, também abordou a importância da qualificação profissional e sobre o mercado de trabalho na área de TI. Logo após, o diretor de Mercado da iTalents, Paulo Camargo, apresentou a empresa aos alunos e ministrou a Aula Magna, discorrendo acerca de temas, como: carreira profissional, competências, habilidades, demandadas de mercado, além das atuações profissionais emergentes.  Ao falar da importância do curso, o executivo ressaltou que, de acordo com estudo apresentado pelo Fórum Econômico Mundial, 50% da força de trabalho no mundo vai precisar de reciclagem profissional até 2025, além do fato que 40% das habilidades dos atuais profissionais vão mudar nos próximos cinco anos.

Demétrius Calvin Marques, de 61 anos, é um dos novos alunos do programa Inova Tech 50+. Ele conta que, quando soube da abertura do curso, não pensou duas vezes em se inscrever. “Eu trabalhava no setor de vendas de máquinas agrícolas e, hoje, estou aposentado, mas sempre gostei da área de Tecnologia. Em 1983, fiz um curso de Cobol, uma linguagem que hoje é jurássica (risos). Fiquei muito feliz em ter sido um dos selecionados para o curso e vejo isso como uma grande oportunidade de qualificação profissional e também de adquirir mais conhecimento”, diz.

Quem também esteve presente foi a pedagoga Maria José Laurindo, de 54 anos. “Essa é uma iniciativa louvável da Prefeitura e do Parque Tecnológico de Sorocaba, pois para a gente, quando tem certa idade, foca muito difícil encontrar oportunidades, como esta. Quero, com esse curso, ampliar meus conhecimentos”, ressalta.

O curso

Com duração de 60 horas, o curso, no formato on-line, permitirá ao participante compreender todos os fundamentos e desenvolver habilidades básicas de programação, com base em variáveis, tipos de dados, estrutura de controle de fluxo, estrutura de dados e funções, além de possibilitar o domínio da escrita de algoritmos simples para resolver problemas, utilizando pseudocódigo e fluxogramas que o aluno poderá traduzir para a linguagem de programação Python.

Durante o curso, os participantes terão a chance de se envolver em projetos práticos que os auxiliarão na aplicação de seus conhecimentos em situações do mundo real e, ao concluir, também farão parte do banco de talentos da iTalents.
