A previsão de tempestades com rajadas de vento acima de 60 km/h colocou de prontidão 5 mil agentes de Defesa Civil para atuação emergencial em 177 cidades do interior, litoral e Grande São Paulo até o próximo domingo (19). Nesta sexta-feira (17), o governador Tarcísio de Freitas instituiu um gabinete de crise para pronta resposta à população em caso de danos severos à infraestrutura ou catástrofes decorrentes de eventos climáticos extremos.
“Infelizmente, a previsão do tempo alerta e nos mostra que teremos um final de semana parecido com aquele que aconteceu no último dia 3. Temos previsão de ventos que podem chegar a 100 km/h em algumas localidades. Esse tipo de evento está se tornando cada vez mais frequente e vamos, a partir de hoje, abrir uma sala de situação no Governo do Estado”, afirmou o governador durante reunião no Palácio dos Bandeirantes.
As áreas com probabilidade de ocorrências de maior risco nos próximos dias são Baixada Santista, Litoral Norte, Vale do Paraíba, Grande São Paulo e as regiões de Sorocaba, Itapeva e Campinas.
“Nossa ideia é combinar procedimentos com prefeituras e concessionárias para tentar melhorar nossa resposta e ritmo de prontidão. Vamos tentar estabelecer rotinas mais eficientes de atuação para dar a melhor resposta possível à população em todos os municípios”, acrescentou Tarcísio.
Os 5 mil agentes em prontidão integram a Defesa Civil do Estado e corporações municipais, incluindo a capital. A mobilização é supervisionada pelo coronel Henguel Ricardo Pereira, que é secretário-chefe da Casa militar e coordenador estadual do Sistema de Proteção e Defesa Civil de São Paulo.
“A gente conseguiu, através da nossa modelagem meteorológica, verificar que são eventos que podem se repetir. Fizemos uma reunião de trabalho trazendo as concessionárias de energia elétrica e os prefeitos para a gente realmente conseguir enxergar melhor, se planejar melhor e organizar melhor para ter uma pronta resposta mais efetiva do poder público”, declarou o coordenador da Defesa Civil.
Simultaneamente às ações de Defesa Civil, o gabinete de crise no Palácio dos Bandeirantes vai coordenar a comunicação e medidas conjuntas entre Estado, prefeituras e concessionárias para ação imediata em eventuais emergências durante e após os temporais. O objetivo é minimizar impactos de quedas de árvores e restabelecer o fornecimento de energia em locais críticos no menor tempo possível.
Uma equipe de meteorologistas e hidrólogos também vai atuar em período integral no Centro de Gerenciamento de Emergências (CGE) da Defesa Civil do Estado. O grupo vai monitorar, em tempo real, as regiões do estado com possibilidade de maior volume de chuvas e ocorrência de ventos mais fortes, orientando as ações do poder público em situações de emergência ou ocorrências de desastres.
A Defesa Civil do Estado também terá núcleos específicos para mitigação de danos decorrentes de tempestades e vendavais e apoio aos municípios. São eles: 1) núcleo de situações de anormalidade, para análise de documentação de casos de emergência ou calamidade; 2) núcleo de serviços emergenciais, para apoio a prefeituras em estado homologado de emergência ou calamidade; 3) núcleo de logística humanitária e voluntariado, para atendimento a famílias desabrigadas ou desalojadas e ação conjunta com organizações da sociedade civil.
“A gente otimizou o Centro de Gerenciamento de Emergências trazendo representantes do Corpo de Bombeiros, concessionárias de energia, Sabesp e prefeituras para a gente realmente congregar todas as informações e, a partir daí, operacionalizar ajuda à população, em caso de necessidade, com mais rapidez e mais efetividade” concluiu o coronel Henguel.

Desde a última quarta (15), a Defesa Civil do Estado vem divulgando alertas de tempestades e fortes rajadas de vento para o território paulista entre o final da tarde desta sexta e o próximo domingo.
Ainda sob os efeitos de uma intensa onda de calor, o aumento da umidade e a passagem de uma frente fria poderão criar condições para temporais, granizo e fortes rajadas de ventos em grande parte do estado de São Paulo.
As rajadas de vento poderão variar entre 60 km/h e 80 km/h. Porém, há um alerta para vendavais com 100 km/h em algumas áreas da chamada faixa leste do estado de São Paulo, que abrange os 177 municípios em que os 5 mil agentes de Defesa Civil estarão de prontidão.
